Two new manuscript have been published in collaboration with Dr. Jim Connor at Penn State, focusing on mechanisms of iron transport across the blood-brain barrier. Check them out here:

Emma was also selected to give a talk at the GRS conference preceding the main event. Way to go!

We are pleased to welcome Nick Marinelli to the lab!

Nick joins us from the QCB program and will pursue his PhD in Chemical and Physical Biology. He has been appointed to the ITED T32 program and will focus on metabolic regulation of tissue barrier function.

The first blood-brain barrier patent from Ethan's graduate work was officially granted!
