For her poster on high efficiency gene knockouts in iPSCs. Way to go Michaela!
Funding announcements
The lab is part of a funded joint effort headed by Dr. John Wikswo and Vanderbilt Institute for Integrative Biosystems Research and Education (VIIBRE) to model tuberous sclerosis complex with patient-derived iPSCs. We have also been awarded an internal grant from the Engineering Immunity TIPs program to develop biologicals that direct interleukin signaling. We are excited to embark in these new directions!
Ethan is named a NARSAD Young Investigator!
This grant will fund efforts to build neurovascular tissue structures with Leon Bellan's group for modeling behavioral disease phenotypes. We are grateful for this support from the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation!
Dan Balikov joins the lab!
Dan is an MD/PhD candidate who is doing a short stint with us before returning to medical school. He will be a jack of all trades, working on several projects ranging from high throughput screening to iPSC differentiation. Welcome Dan!
